Susan Dooha (pictured left-of-center, holding a little girl in her arms), Shelly Nortz (center) and Michael McKee (right) each receive the Justin Dart Award for Political Advocacy. Dooha is the Executive Director of the Center for Independence of the Disabled, New York. Nortz serves as the Deputy Executive Director for Policy with Coalition for the Homeless. McKee was a founder of the New York State Tenants & Neighbors Coalition, a statewide membership organization that lobbies and advocates for tenant rights legislation.
