Lawrence Carter-Long is the recipient of the Sandra Schnur Emerging Leadership Award. He is the Network Coordinator for the Disabilities Network of New York City (DNNYC). He is also a regular contributor to Ragged Edge Online, a disability rights web log, a producer on WBAI'S Largest Minority radio show, where he reports on disability arts, culture and community, and a contributing editor for SATYA magazine.
