Although I may not have as much experience with dissabilities, it does not mean that I am not willing to get involved and work for changes that are needed. Everyone should have the same rights and opportunities no matter what challenges lie ahead of each and every one of us. I read about a female candidate in Long Island, Brooke Ellison who is running for State Senate. Brooke graduated from Harvard magna cum laude. She is paralyzed from the neck down and relies on a respirator. She is an inspiration to all of us and an example that we are all capable of reaching our goals no matter what. My organization holds meetings in places that are accessible to all. Yes. They certainly should, since the party wants to be able to reach everyone. The Democratic Party wants to encourage people to participate. In their articles, it states that there should be no discrimination of any sort, which means they can't discriminate on the grounds of disability. Not at this time, but again it is open to everyone. No, we have not. We always welcome and encourage everyone to participate. The polling places are accessible. We have not appointed anyone at this moment but I will encourage people with dissabilities to do so. I would fully support it. People with dissabilities have the same rights as everyone else.
